Transportation from the Airport

Canal Boats
The Museumboat is a similar concept with visits to Central Station, Prinsengracht, Leidseplein, Herengracht, Muziektheater and the East Dock. Tickets includes half-price entry to most city museums. The cost of a ticket is a mere 14.25 Euro per day.
Bicycling
This is, in my opinion, the only way to see Amsterdam. There are a plethora of bike trails that will take you on an amazing exploration of Amsterdam. Rent a bike at one of the many bicycle outlets for approximately 8 Euro per day. Most places will give discounts for longer rentals. Give it a try and it will be easy to see how the Dutch have made this more than just transportation...it is a way of life.
